Israel's Land Grant

There are many today who believe that Israel is an invader in the land of Palestine and is guilty of illegally colonizing the land. In fact, you can even look up the link below and hear Secretary of State Hillary Clinton state this blatantly.

But do all Americans believe this? And do Christians believe this? The answer would be an emphatic "NO!"

According to the Bible, we are told that it was GOD himself who granted to Israel the land of Palestine. He also gave them much more than that small area. And he gave it to them, as the Bible says, FOR EVER!

Let's look at the various verses in the Bible which prove this. In Genesis chapter 12 we read of God calling Abraham, the father of the Jews:

1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Notice God calls Abraham unto a certain LAND, and says he will make a great NATION of him. This is the Nation of Israel. And again in the same chapter in verse 7 we read God saying that he will not only give the land to Abraham, but also to his seed:

7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto they seed will I give this land..."

As we read further in the Bible, we find in chapter 13 of Genesis that God not only gives the land to Abraham and his seed, but he tells him how long he is allowed to keep the land. In verses 15 and 16 we read:

15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall they seed also be numbered.

Notice what God says here. He says that he will give the land to Abraham and his seed (The Jews) FOR EVER!

Then, in Genesis 15: 18 we read, "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abraham, saying, Unto they seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates."

How important is this verse. In Genesis 13:15-16 above we read of God promising to give (future) the land to Abraham and his seed. However, in this verse, we read of a convenant made between Abraham and God in which God gave (past tense) the land to Abraham.

We are also told the borders of the land. It is from the Nile River in Egypt to the River Euphrates, which is now close to modern day Iraq.

But the Bible doesn't stop there. We read again in chapter 17 of Genesis, verses 6-8 the following:

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Here, God reiterates what he already said. And the land which God gives Israel is to be an EVERLASTING POSSESSION. They are to received ALL the land of Canaan.

Now, some modern-day Arabs or Muslims would look at this, and say, "Well, that means we are entitled to the land as well!" For they too can trace their lineage back to Abraham. However, as we read through the word of God, the Bible, we find that God's plan and covenant was not extended to the Arabs from Ishamel and Esau. Rather, God chose Issac and Jacob (the line of the Jews). We can clearly see this when we read the following verses:

Genesis 17:

19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Genesis 21:

12 And God said unto Abraham, let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman: in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall they seed be called.

Genesis 28:

1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.

3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

Genesis 35:

10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

Genesis 48:

3 And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,

4 And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.

Through these verses, it's completely clear, God's promise and covenant of giving the land to Abraham went to Isaac and then to his son Jacob, the father of the twelve tribes of Israel. This promise did not extend to Ishmael and his son Esau (from which we now have the Arabs). Thus, the land according to God and the Bible belongs to the JEWS!!!

So why don't modern politicians see this and believe it, especially when all Christians know it? Could it be they don't know God? Or maybe if they do, they just don't care what he said? Is it possible they don't read their Bibles?

I mean, how on earth could someone like the Secretary of State of the United States of American say something silly like, Israel is full of "illegitamate settlements," when God himself is He who gave Israel the land to dwell in and build upon? And how could the U.N. be so against Israel and their colonization of the area? Could it be they too are ignorant of the Bible?

I don't know their motive, but I do know what the Bible says, and according to the word of God, people should leave the Jewish state of Israel alone to build in its own land. It was given them by God himself.

So this leaves us with the following unanswered question: "Could it be the reason the secular world is so against Israel is because they are against God?"

I'll not attempt to answer that question. A discussion on that topic is an entire blog all by itself. But it does make us wonder, especially when the Bible is so clear that God gave the land to the Jews, and the world is adamant that Israel shouldn't get it.

Corrupting the Youth

The Devil has always worked the same way. He has always attacked the youth and tried to corrupt them. From Adam and Eve to Cain, the Devil has found the weakest link to be the youngest. If he can corrupt the yout and turn them against their parents and towards the way of wickedness, then he not only damns them, but their future children as well. Thus, his main thrust is the corrupting of the youth.

We find this clearly in the Bible. When the children of Israel were in bondage to Egypt, God choose Moses to liberate them. God gave Moses signs and wonders and he used them to prove to Pharoah that the God of the Israelites was the one and true God. As we read through Exodus, we find Pharoah's hardened heart not wanting to let God's people go. And we find him trying to get Israel to compromise four times in the following ways:

1. Exod. 8:25-26 Pharoah tells them to stay in Egypt, but sacrifice to their God.

2. Exod. 8:28 Pharoah tells them to leave Egypt, but not go far away.

3. Exod. 10:7-10 Pharoah tells them to go, but to leave their children behind.

4. Exod. 10:24 Pharoah tells them to go, but to leave their possessions behind.

Notice Pharoah wanted the Israelites under his complete control. First, he didn't want them to worship God. Next he didn't want them to separate themselves from the world. Then he desired to keep their children under bondage. And then finally, if he couldn't have them, then he wanted all they had--their possessions.

The Devil too is relentless in this way. If he can't get someone under his thumb, he'll do all he can to get what they have and to gain control of their offspring.

Is it then no wonder we see in these last days before the Lord returns that Satan is doing the very same thing in our day?

The Bible teaches after the Rapture there will be a time of tribulation of seven years in which the Anti-Christ rules. And who will he reign over? He will reign over those who are not saved.

Because he is bringing in his New World Order, the Devil is also working hard to set up his new world "Workers." Thus, he has educated the youth in secular schools on the importance of "globalism." He has taken the children of this world and taught them that "communism" and "globalism" are good, and their parents "outdated" beliefs are bad.

The Devil has prepared for himself a generation to rule over. And he continues to do the same.

This is nothing new. In Nazi Germany, Hitler had his "Hitler Youth." In Russia, Stalin took the young people and trained them. It was state sponsored "parenthood" of young people. And instead of their parents training them, the state endoctrinated them in the ways they wanted the children to perform under a state controlled governmental system.

Today we see the same thing world-wide as children are taught a "global collectivism" in which they are "global citizens." They are further taught to protect the earth and preserve it for future generations through the "Green movement." But little do they realize they are losing their freedoms given them by their forefathers, and becaming enslaved to the Global Satanic New World Order.

Satan not only has used governments to gain control of the youth politically, but he's also used teachers to loosed the morals of the children. In Hitler's day, the young people were mixed and encouraged to "fornicate" in order to populate the state with more German citizens to serve the Reich.

In Stalin's time, fornication was not preached against as sin, and yeah even encouraged, especially when soldiers were probably going to die soon anyway. Even the raping of innocent German women when the Red Soldiers went into Berlin was not criticized. Instead it was looked upon as "Social Justice" if you will, or the Russians dishing out to the Germans what they had received when the Germans took over their country.

Wars are horrible things. But one this war does is corrupt the youth. Young men who become soldiers get out from under the authority of their parents, and oftentimes endulge themselves in fornication, cussing, drinking, and all kinds of debauchery while in the service.

If they survive, they come home not as the nice, innocent, moral young men who joined the service, rather carousing, drunken, swearing devils who feel they have cheated death and must do more evil in order to get their thrills.

Yes, Satan has done a good job corrupting the youth. America in the 1800's was a moral country with Victorian style beliefs. But World War I ruined one generation, while World War II ruined another. Then Vietnam, Korea, and the Middle East ruined another. Not to mention the godless schools systems and universities which target the youth and try to turn them towards communism, socialism, revelry and humanism.

But thank God there still are some outstanding good, moral, and upright Christian people still around in the world today. Though they are few and far between, they do exist. They have always existed. They are just much fewer in number than in days gone by.

If you are one of them, and you have young children, why not do all you can to protect them? Satan is after them, and God gave them to you to take care of. Will you do it? For it's obvious this world isn't interested in keeping your children pure. Rather, they seek to corrupt them!

The Lie about Lucifer

I've heard quite often the blantant lie that is being propogated today by many so-called "Scholars" that the passage of scripture in Isaiah 14 which speaks of "Lucifer" does not apply to the Devil or Satan. On source states:

"Lucifer, used as a name for the Devil, is not found in the Bible. There is only one reference to Lucifer in the Bible (Isa. 14:12), and it does not refer to Satan, but to the king of Babylon."

The truth of the matter is the passage does apply to Satan. But it also applies to the king of Babylon as well. In other words, it's written literally to the King of Babylon, but it's also written spiritually to the Devil inside of Him. Thus, it does apply to Satan.

As we look at Isaiah chapter 14, we can't deny there are some verses which apply literally to the King of Babylon, the man, at the time it was written. But as we look at other verses we find they can only apply to Satan, who was once known as Lucifer. For example we read:

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Did the King of Babylon literally fall from heaven (vs 12)? Nope!

Who is the "son of the morning?" Why it's Satan. And he was cast down to earth when he fell from heaven.

Who said, "I will ascend and exalt my throne above the stars of God..." You might say, "Well, the King of Babylon could have said that!"

True. He could have said it. But he couldn't of done it. Only Satan, who can travel to heaven before the throne of God and back (See the book of Job) can literally ascend into heaven.

And who shall be brought down to hell? Surely the King of Babylon died and went to hell. But the Bible teaches us that the Devil will also be brought into Hell.

To say that Isaiah chapter 14 only speaks of the King of Babylon and has nothing to do with Lucifer or Satan is a blatant lie. And those who propogate this, whether knowingly or unknowingly, are guilty of covering up for Satan and trying to hide the fact that the word "Lucifer" applies to the Devil. Who would do such a thing?

Don't you think the Devil appreciates it when people help cover up his name? Especially since so many today are worshippers of "Lucifer." You see it's easier to call yourself a worshipper of "Lucifer" than a worshipper of "Satan" or the "Devil."

The truth is Lucifer is Satan, and the passage in Isaiah 14 does apply to him. And to prove it, let's go to Ezekiel chapter 28. There we read of the prophet prophecying against the King of Tyrus. (Just like Isaiah prophecies against the King of Babylon in Isa. 14). In the passage we read the following:

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Notice here we read of the "anointed cherub" (vs 14). Is that the King of Tyrus? Or could it instead be Satan or Lucifer? Whoever it was, he was in the Garden of Eden (vs 13). Does that sound like the King of Tyrus? Was he there with Adam and Eve? OF COURSE NOT!!!

The passage, although written to the King of Tyrus was a message to Satan, who was upon the mountain of God (vs 16), and who was full of wisdom (vs 12), and who corrupted himself (vs 17) because of his iniquity (vs 15) and who fell.

As we read verse 17, we find him being cast to the ground and laid before kings so they might behold him. This sounds a lot like what we read in Isaiah 14. So what we see is God speaking to the Devil or Lucifer through his prophet, who addresses Satan through the King of Tyrus, just as Ezekiel addressed Lucifer through the King of Babylon.

Without a doubt, Lucifer is Satan! And anyone who says otherwise is either completely ignorant of the Bible and how to read cross-references, or is in cahoots with Lucifer and is trying to hide the fact that the word "Lucifer" (which many downgrade by saying only means "Light-bearer") is a name for Satan himself. Which is it? You decide.

The SIN of Adultery

In our day adultery is a common occurance. It has taken place so much that most people don't think anything about it. Even though they think infidelity is a good grounds for divorce, they wouldn't venture to call it a "sin." Especially since either they themselves or someone they know has commited this act at least once.

But God is very clear about the sin of Adultery. It is even one of the ten commandments found in Exodus chapter twenty:

"Thou shalt not commit adultery." (Exod. 20:14)

So dogmatic is God that men do not do this, that he even put the death penalty on this act in Leviticus 20:10:

And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

God hates adultery. He wants one man and one woman together in holy matrimony, period. He does not want "key-parties" and "wife-swapping" which are common occurances in our world today. Nor does God allow "orgies" and "lifestyle partnerships" in which people live with one mate for several years and then find another. God's institution of marrige is the joining of one man and one woman together for life. He wants it no other way.

Yet this horrible sin is not only rampant in the lost world today. It is also common in the church. And it is a problem that's getting worse, as it's not just those that sit in the pews partaking of this henious act, but it's those in the pulpits as well.

After I got saved and got into the ministry I saw the thing that bothered me the most--those who claimed to be Christians and even preachers committing adultery. How could this be? And why didn't they feel bad about it? And, weren't they concerned about what would happen to the church if they were found out?

To this day I still can't understand how a man can stand in the pulpit and preach against sin on Sunday while he's out committing it on Friday and Saturday night. How can he adulterate and yet feel no remorse? How can he claim to be a minister, much less a Christian, and do such as that?

Below I'm going to give some stories I've either seen first hand or heard of happening. All of these stories involve Independent Baptist Pastors and/or Missionaries. I'll not give any names. (I learned years ago if you name the person then it's gossip, but if you tell the story and make them anynomous, then it's an illustration).

THE PREACHER WHO LEFT HIS SICK WIFE

I heard this tale about a Pastor who's wife fell ill and ended up in a wheelchair. Rather than follow through with his vows of "in sickness and in health, till DEATH do them part," he chose the easy way out claiming it was too much trouble to take care of his wife. So he put her in a nursing home, and found himself another woman. Eventually, he divorced his sick wife while she was in the nursing home and married the woman he was with.

THE PASTOR WHO GAVE STD TO HIS WIFE

This Pastor cheated on his wife and came down with an STD. Later, he gave it to his wife without knowing it. Both of them had to go and get a check-up and take medicine. Luckily, his wife stayed with him. But do you think she ever forgave him? This man is no longer a Pastor.

THE PASTOR WITH MANY WOMEN

This Pastor was caught sleeping with over 20 women in his own church. And it was found out later that his wife was a porn star. What happened to the man? He stepped down. But how on earth could he stand in the pulpit looking out into the congregation of over 20 women that he'd committed adultery with? How does a man do that?

THE BAR-GOING PASTOR

This pastor liked to frequent bars. He also like to frequent a whore who hung out there. When he was caught he lied about it three times. He is still pastoring today in his church.

THE MISSIONARY WHO LEFT HIS WIFE FOR A NATIVE

This missionary went to the field and started a big work. He eventually began to become more like the natives there and became infatuated with a young native woman. After it had been discovered he had been sleeping with her, he divorced his American wife in order to marry the native and he continued on as pastor.

THE PASTOR WHO CLAIMED TO BE A U.S. MARSHAL

This Pastor slept around a lot. Eventually he was followed to a bar by members of his church which caught him there with two women. The Pastor had told the women he was a U.S. Marshal, and they couldn't believe he was a Pastor even when the church members explained it to them. This man never dealt with this subject to his church, instead getting up the next Sunday and piously proclaiming, "I feel God wants me to step down as Pastor and move somewhere else to start a work!" He then left, and his other Pastor buddies protected him and swept his sin under the rug. Why would they do that?

THE PASTOR WHO DROVE HIS WIFE TO THE ARMY

This Pastor fell into sin with another woman, a younger woman. This so devestated his wife that she divorced him and then went and joined the army. He had to step down as Pastor when his sin came to light.

I could go on and on with stories like these and you could probably give me some as well. It is a horrible and shameful thing when a man who claims to be a man of God is caught in the vile and wicked sin of adultery. Not only should he step down from his position, but he should also give a public apology not only to God, but to the Church, and to the lost world as well. He is guily of committing a sin that God at one time practiced capital punishment on. And, his sin is not only a reproach upon himself, but upon Christ as well. It reflects badly upon the church and upon the children of both parties.

Adultery is a horrible sin. So the question must be asked, "Why are so many committing it today?" And, "Why are so many who claim to be Christians committing it as well?"

I don't know the answer. It's hard for me to see a man who claims to be spirit-filled commiting such a carnal act. Maybe he's not spirit-filled at all. Possibly he's not even saved!

All I know is I have no desire to adulterate. I just don't want to sin again God and risk losing my family. I don't want to ruin what God's given me. I don't want to throw it all away for a cheap thrill. So, how is it that others who claim to be ministers of the Gospel are willing to take that chance?

The SIN of Fornication

We live in a world today where many people don't think anything of jumping into bed with someone else. This is not only sad but scary as sexually transmitted diseases are on the rise. There are even commercials on Television which advertise syphillus medicine and creams for genital herpes. Words which people used to blush to speak about.

But the blatant acceptance of fornication wasn't always so. The idea of "free love" in the 60's (i.e. fornication) was frowned upon by society and hippies were looked upon as ruffians, vagabonds, freeloaders, and gypsies. But now just three generations later, they and their lifestyles are celebrated and even imitated by many. How could it be in just a few generations and few years that fornication went from being a sin to being "in?"

Even though people today chuckle when you say fornication is a "sin" the Bible still declares it to be wrong. In passage after passage we find God speaking against the act of two bodies joining together outside of His institution of the bounds of holy matrimony.

In the Bible, we read passages like:

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. (1 Cor. 6:13)

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1 Cor. 6:18)

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. (1 Cor. 7:2)

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal. 5:19-21)

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; (Eph. 5:3)

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: (Col. 3:5)

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: (1 Thes. 4:3)

Although many of these are commands not to fornicate, many today believe that fornication is not sin, rather a natural act between two consenting individuals, and a mutual experience of love between them. They simply cannot accept that something they believe to be so good can be a sin. Thus, they make light of God and the Bible, and call those who preach it old "fuddie-duddies" who "just haven't caught up with the times."

But God is adamant in his convictions. God hates sin and thusly God hates fornication. So much so, we find in one passage where God killed those who were guilty of this henious sin. We 1 Cor. 10:8 we read: "Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand."

This passage speaks of a scene from Numbers 25 in which Israel sinned against God and many Israelites fornicated. Because of their fornication, God sent a plague upon the people which left 23,000 dead. Did you get that? God killed 23,000 people in one day all for one sin -- that of FORNICATING!

Now, as far as we know, God's never done that again. But have you ever thought what the world would be like if he did? I mean, what if God were to kill every person in this world everytime they fornicated? There would be a very small population left, wouldn't there? And those that were left would definitely make sure they didn't have sex outside of marriage. And you know what else? There wouldn't be any more sexually transmitted diseases. They would all be gone!

But God didn't do that. He wanted people to obey Him out of love, not out of fear. So he gave man freewill to decide if they would fornicate or not. Sadly, many choose the sin of fornication.

Sadder still, many who claim the name of Christ are fornicators. And probably most sad is when a man who claims to be a Pastor or a Minister of the Gospel commits this act. When that happens the whole world quickly jumps on him claiming he's "fallen." But why is it wrong for a preacher to do it, but not wrong for everyone else? The fact is it's wrong for ANYONE to fornicate! It is sin.

I remember before I was saved I was religious and I read my Bible daily. From my upbringing, religious teaching and studies I knew fornication was sin, and I determined in my heart not to do it. I remember my Mom, who was a Registered Nurse, bringing home a book when I was fourteen entitled, "The Encyclopedia of Sexually Transmitted Diseases: Illustrated." She told me to look through the book and I did. It scared me to see people's private parts eaten up with Sexually Transmitted Diseases and it changed my life. From that day I didn't look at girls with a lustful heart of "I want to get with her!" Instead my first thought was, "I wonder what disease she's got?" It really ruined me towards women. I was scared to death of getting an STD so I made up my mind I just wouldn't touch a woman until I was married.

But the thing I can't understand is how men can and do commit fornication and it never bothers them or their conscience. How can a man or a women live such loose lifestyles that they don't care about the consequences? They could get pregnant, get STDs, or worse, even AIDS. But they just don't care, and they remain sexually active often never using a condom.

As a teenager, I knew fornication was sin, because the Bible told me so. But could it be so simple that the reason others committed fornication was because they didn't know that?

I found out that wasn't the case. While a teenager in church I noticed even those kids in my youth group were sleeping around on Friday and Saturday nights, while coming to church all pious and holy on Sunday morning. How could they do such a thing and not feel bad.

After I got saved and got into the ministry I saw the thing that bothered me the most--those who claimed to be Christians and even preachers practicing fornication (and even adultery) with others. How could this be? And why didn't they feel bad about it? And weren't they concerned about what would happen to the church if they were found out?

To this day I still can't understand how a man can stand in the pulpit and preach against sin on Sunday while he's out committing it on Friday and Saturday night. How can he fornicate and yet feel no remorse?

To me fornication is sin. To God it is also sin. But how come it's not sin in the eyes of the world? And how can those who claim to be Christians be actively partaking of such a heinous transgression?

The Damnation of Education

The late Dr. Bob Jones, Sr. once said, "Education without Salvation is DAMNATION!"

What a profound statement! And how true.

In the United States of America we are undeniablly in a state of physical apathy and spiritual apostasy towards truth. But how did we get to this point? How did we get to such a crummy state in which no one seems to be doing right, nor standing for the truth?

I believe the answer to that question is "EDUCATION." People have been educated to be so stupid!

You see, the devil no longer walks the earth with hoven feeth and long horns with a forked tail. Instead, he's put on a long black robe over a suit and a tie and he has become "dignified" as he's taken his position in places of "higher education."

Is it no wonder that a poll done several years ago says that over 80% of college students that come from "Christian homes" lose their faith in God in the first two years of their university studies? And is it no wonder that "ministerial students" start Bible Schools with a strong belief in the King James Bible, but graduate ridiculing it and constantly correcting it with the "original Greek?"

Satan has taken over the education system in American and even in the World. But this should be no surprise, for as you study history, this has always been his practice. Way back in the time of the Greeks he chose a man named Socrates to go around "questioning everything" (Kinda sounds like your modern college professors, doesn't it?) Socrates never taught anything to anyone in his entire life! All he did was ask questions. (Wasn't that exactly what Satan did in Genesis three when he showed up and said, "Yeah, hath God said?")

His "Socratic method" questioned everything but explained nothing. It was not education, rather mis-education. As it does not instruct, it only causes doubt.

The people in Socrates day saw through him as the shallow scam-artist he was. They even accused him of "corrupting the youth" (by making them question everything themselves instead of teaching them something useful.) Eventually, Socrates saw the shallowness of his own life, and he commited suicide. If you ask me, he did the world a favor.

Yet in the eyes of "scholarship" for thousands of years he has been revered as a great man. Even Plato worshipped him, and so did Aristotle, and these men are looked upon today as some of the world's greatest and most learned men. But have you ever read these guys? They were C-R-A-Z-Y!!!

But they set up a system of "education" that has lasted centuries, but has made no one smarter.

Let me just give an example. I just finished reading a book from 1956 entitled, "Our Friend the Atom," by Heinz Haber, and he talks about how Democritus, a contemporary of Aristotle, was the first to come up with the theory that everything was made up of "atoms" which could not be seen by the naked eye. He explained everything consisted in forms of either solid, liquid, or gas. Aristotle, however, did not believe in the existence of the Atom. Instead he believed everything was made up of the basic elements: earth, water, wind, and fire, which he explained as: hot, cold, moist, and dry.

Now which one of those men was right? Today we know it was Democritus, not Aristotle.

But did you know that in the 1500's in Oxford University in England that a student was fined five shillings every time he made a statement or used an argument contrary to the teachings of Aristotle?

Notice how "secularized educational systems" can control education and can make truth a lie, or at least make it difficult to disperse. They can control the masses through "education" while leaving them stupid!

True education comes from experimentation and explaination. It is something that can be demonstrated to others to be true. But, the Modern World Educational System is not the teaching of facts and evidence, (which is a true education.) Instead, it is questioning everything with a critical spirit and theorizing the answer through philosophy (The Greeks were the Philosophers) and argumentation.

For example, take the Theory of Evolution which is taught world-wide in so-called institutions of higher learning. There has never been one piece of evidence that proves men came from monkeys. However, Scientists write libraries full of books about how they theorize that it happened. As you read their works, you'll find they can never tell you a straight answer that is provable by experimentation. Rather they say things like, "It's possible that..." or "Scientists theorize..." or "It is widely believed..." or "Perhaps..." or "It could have happened in the following manner," etc. and etc. If you don't believe me, pick up a science textbook and see for yourself! Science can never tell you what happened. In fact, they can't even agree when it happened. Was it billions of years ago or millions. Was it specifically 200 million years ago or 65 million years ago? Do they know that for sure, is that just their best guess?

Compare this with the Bible, which is the only book that claims to be the very words of the living God, the Creator of all things. Time and again we read, "Thus saith the Lord..." and "Verily I say unto you..." In the Bible we are given FACTS. It is not only the history of things that truly happened, but it is statements of absolute truth which cannot be denied. A true education, then, can only come from the Bible!

But let's look at modern Bible Schools today. They don't like that you can read a Bible and know something. If that's true then you can get an education all by yourself and you don't need them at all! So they have to cast doubt on whether the word of God is true or not, and make you think you have to go to them for the answers. Following "German Rationalism" and "Modern Textual Criticism" they sit in judgment of the Bible and want to seat themselves as the final authority and the only ones who can tell you what is true in the Bible and what isn't. But even they don't agree with themselves!

Do you see how this works. Educational Systems tell you that you can only get an education their way in their schools. But when you go to them, the best they can give you is their opinion. The best they can do is tell you what they think about something. But they can't tell you the truth about it.

Thus, a Secular Education, or even a Bible School Education will leave you worse off then you were before, as neither one can point you to a source of finding absolute truth. All they can do is make you think you are smart because you listened to them (what Socrates was a Master of doing).

So what do they do? They turn to Satan and Socrates and start questioning things and tell you to "think for yourself." In other words, just believe what ever you want, just make sure you pay us your tution fees, cause that's all we care about!

But they can never give you the absolute truth. And after all, isn't that what a true education is? It's learning the TRUTH about something. Being educated on the knowledge of what a thing is.

A true education can only be found in the Bible. Even Jesus said, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH. (John 17:17)

As we look at those who brag about their "education," we clearly find the reason why all they know how to do is "question" things, is because they don't know anything to begin with!

In the Bible, God says of those who claim to be learned, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." (Rom. 1:22).

They think they are smart, but the fact that they leave out God and his word as the final authority makes them stupid!

Even God states the following of those with higher educational titles in Psalm 62:, "Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity."

According to the word of God, there is such a thing as absolute TRUTH and a person can know it. Not only should he know it, but he should also defend it and preach it. The reason he should do so is because there will always be "teachers" (which is what Aristotle claimed to be) who desire to TURN OTHERS AWAY FROM IT! We see this clearly in 2 Tim. 4:24...

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Any higher institution of learning that just "questions" instead of "teaches" is not a learning center at all, rather a "recruiting" center for agnostics. (Isn't this really what our universities are today?)

This is why modern universities are cess pools of fornication, debauchery, drunkness, and lewd parties. It's not about the students learning truth, it's about them letting loose and opening their minds and bodies to new thoughts, ideas, and experiences. It's not about them excercising their minds and practicing thinking, rather it's to make them not think for themselves. In a nutshell, it's all about corrupting the youth. (Hey, isn't that what Socrates was accused of too?)

You probably already know that most college professors aren't Christians. Or in the case of "Christian universities" aren't "practicing Christians." Most teachers don't have the mindset that God is the Creator and the Redeemer and all truth must come from Him. Thus, they teach their students to be their own authorities. And instead of students learning truth which will help them be upstanding citizens, they are taught to believe there is no God, an all is relative. They are taught they are to be the judge of all things. This leads to foolishness. (That's why in Psalm 14:1, God says, "The Fool hath said in his heart there is no God!").

This brings us to the DAMNATION of education. For if you seek to be educated but you leave God out of the picture, you are always going to end up ignorant. Maybe this is why God wrote the following about those who love not the truth in 2 Thess. 2:10-12:

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Here we read that God will give a man a lie if he doesn't want to believe the truth. And we find the main reason men don't want the truth is because they want "pleasure." Could it be the old saying rings true when it says, "The Truth HURTS!"

What is the truth according to God and the Bible? The truth is there is a God (whether secular university professors believe it or not), and He wrote the Bible and it's inerrant and infallible (whether Bible Schools say it is or not). And according to Him and His word, unless you receive the forgiveness of sins He offers through the blood atonement of His son Jesus Christ, you will burn in Hell forever! That's the plain and simple truth!

Bob Jones words are just as true today as back in his day when he uttered them. Truly "Education without Salvation is Damnation!"

And we can see the fruit of that damnation in our country today, as educational facilities have birthed out God-hating, pleasure seeking, reprobate, self-concieted, bible-deniers for centuries. Their disciples are now in positions of power, and are teaching others how to live just like themselves. They've destroyed their own souls and now they are destroying society as well. (Is it no wonder there are so many suicides among publically educated teens today? They see how meaningless life is and they end up doing just what Aristotle did).

The thing I can't understand is why on earth people who call themselves "Christians" can pretend there is no problem, and how they can send their children off to diabolical schools for an education.

Like on preacher once said, "You can't send you children off to Philistine Schools and not expect them to come back with Egyptian ways!"

How can "Christians" let the world corrupt their children and not even let it bother them? Where is the love? (Oh, that's right, it's waxing cold. See Matt. 24:12)

If you really care about your kids, and you don't want to see them go to Hell. Why not give them a real education--A BIBLE EDUCATION! This is not only good for their mind, but for their body as well. It is to help them be moral amidst a world of immorality.
